We posted our first take on the friendliest stadiums, and hundreds of you weighed in with your own experiences — the good, the bad, and the genuinely heartwarming. So we rebuilt this ranking around what actual visiting fans told us. Here's the fan-sourced verdict.
The near-unanimous pick. One Saints fan shared the perfect story: after his team fell behind and their star running back got injured, the Packers fan behind him tapped his shoulder, handed him a beer, and said "sorry things are going badly — we want you to have a good time while you're here." Packers fans are so welcoming that one admitted it's "neutered our home-field advantage." That's the gold standard.

We originally ranked Wrigley among the friendliest — and wow, did fans have opinions. The honest truth from the responses: Wrigley is polarizing. Plenty of visitors have had wonderful experiences ("been 100+ times, the only friction is with Sox fans"). But many others reported the opposite — "a lot of douchebag energy," "the number of antagonistic jerks is way above average," especially with weekend crowds and rival gear. The fair takeaway: an incredible bucket-list ballpark, but inconsistent for visiting fans — so we've moved it off the "friendliest" list. Great park; roll the dice on the crowd.
